Go Deeper · Build in public

Permission to be
more ambitious.

Go Deeper is a build-in-public series about how I use AI in my own projects, and an invitation for you to push one step past what you think is possible, too. Not AI as a replacement for creative thinking, and not as a way to take people out of the room, but as the bridge across the gaps I don’t have yet. The model can bring the range. I still bring the vision, the taste, and the reasons it matters.

The framework

Deeper, not bigger.

Adapted from Felix Rieseberg’s tutorial for humans with models. Speed is the fourth kind of ambition, and most of us have already found it. These are the other directions.

Up
Altitude

Aim at the outcome behind the task. Instead of asking for the next fix, ask what you actually want to happen next.

Down
Depth

Work the way a field-leading expert would, with their raw material, their real instruments, and their standards.

Across
Range

Borrow methods from fields the task does not obviously need. Theater, art, and AV are an advantage here. Use them on purpose.

Underneath
Belief

People achieve more with specific hard goals, proof it has been done, and permission to fail. That last one is the one I needed.

The Prompt Book

Standby. Then go.

Sixteen prompts you can copy straight into Claude, sorted by how you feel right now. Pick the one that matches, run one cue, and stop there if one is all you have today.

I build.

The projects behind the series: apps, tools, and experiments made by stepping outside the lane I was trained for.

Go Deeper is inspired by “How to be more ambitious: A tutorial for humans with models” by Felix Rieseberg. The four types of ambition and the “deeper, not bigger” prompt come from his post. The feeling-based groupings, the AV and creative adaptations, and the additional cues are Cathy’s.
